: a success and three points which do good for the Béziers Angels

Facing Avenir, the team training the French talents of tomorrow, bottom red, Béziers offers itself a fourth victory in the championship.

A bottom-of-the-table match between Béziers (12th) and France Avenir, two places behind and last in the championship. Almost imperative victory operation for the Angels lacking points after 11 days of the championship and facing an opponent without the slightest success.

Caught cold, the Angels suffered in the first points, 0-3 then 1-5, before starting the machine to gradually come back (10-10). The Biterroises are, from then on, in the lead, without being able to completely let go of an opponent who is hanging on: 18-16. But after a boost, Béziers takes the first round (25-18).

Nada Meawad MVP

A domination which continues at the start of the second set for Frédéric Havas' players: 5-1. A lead in the score that the Biterroises maintain and gradually increase (14-7). In an enthusiastic sports hall, but a little more sparse than usual, the locals strive to win the round (25-14).

It now remains to finish the work to win in three straight sets. Something done by Béziers Volley, who led from start to finish and won 25-16. The MVP trophy goes to Angels captain Nada Meawad. For the next match, the Angels will play at home again, with the reception of St Cloud.
