The Tourangeaux clearly took a blow to the head this Saturday, November 16 by losing to Tourcoing. Not because they lost against the leader, but because they made a mistake while in a tie-break – and therefore at least one point, which is no small thing for a team that does not counted only seven – held out his arms to them.

Marcelo Fronckowiak (TVB entertainer) : “I am disappointed and sad because we miss the possibility of going to the tie-break. We have to accept that we failed. The second set, for example, is about individual responsibility with too many service faults! You have to ask yourself the right questions, and I can't stop asking myself them. It hurts to lose while leading 11-15 in the fourth set…”

Dorian Rougeyron (Tourcoing coach): “We saw two exhausted teams, with travel weighing on the organizations. The benches have therefore weighed and it is not surprising. The entry of Strehlau and Voss did a lot of good for Tours and, for our part, Lavigne when he entered the service punctually and especially Hutcheson changed the fourth set while we were a little suffering from a lack of energy. »

Antoine Pothron (TVB receiver-attacker): “It’s frustration that dominates. We didn't start the first set well, we managed to come back but we had too many cuts… We saw ourselves going to the tie-break, and no, it's still a frustration…”

Guilherme Voss (TVB central): “Defeats are never pleasant. And I hate this one even more. When you lose to a team that plays better, you might think they deserve it. But when you feel like you can win the match and in the end you lose it, it's so frustrating. They absolutely deserved their victory, given what they did. It's just that by having all these moments, by being so close, we could have done it too. When I came in (with Strehlau), I just tried to bring good energy, help the guys. »
