Rugby, volleyball, this Saturday, in Narbonne, Racingmen and Centurions will share the evening

An unprecedented cooperation. In good intelligence. This Saturday, November 16, the Racing Club brought forward the kick-off time for its match, at the Parc des Sports, against Bourg-en-Bresse at 6:30 p.m., and the Centurions Narbonne moved theirs back against , at the Arena, at 8:30 p.m.

Right on time! The Racing Club Narbonnais and the Centurions Narbonne have agreed, this season, to no longer duplicate each other, to no longer play at the same time. In 2024-2025, on three occasions, the two and clubs were to operate at almost the same timetable. This November 16, January 25 and March 22. Each time, the RCN will advance the kick-off with the agreement of its evening opponent, and the Centurions will delay theirs, always with the agreement of their opponent.

Concretely, this Saturday, Racing, which was to play from 7 p.m. against Bourg-en-Bresse, will move forward the kick-off to 6:30 p.m., and the Centurions, who were to start at 8 p.m., will start their match against Chaumont. at 8:30 p.m. “One city, two balloons, two colors, the same goal: to make our city shine”, communicated the two clubs on their social networks.

Half-price volleyball ticket

“The RCN and the Centurions came to an agreement in the interest of our two clubs, our partners, the supporters. We decided on this together this summer after receiving our respective calendars,” comments the president of the Centurions Narbonne Bastien Anglade. The idea? “We park. We watch the RCN game then head to the volleyball court where the party will continue until one in the morning at the Arena.”

As a ribbon on the gift wrap, upon presentation of a Racing subscription card or match ticket, spectators will benefit from a promotion on the volleyball ticket: half price. €6.50 instead of €13 and free for children under 6 years old.

“As part of the good relations between the two clubs and their respective presidents, Xavier Marco and Bastien Anglade, we have decided by mutual agreement not to play at the same time. We spoke to each other, we saw each other and we were able to put this system in place”, add Benoît Delon, the general director of Racing Club Narbonnais.

Please note that Racing will donate €1 per ticket to Movember, a charity event inviting men to grow a mustache to raise funds for research into male diseases.
