In the episode ofHere it all begins from Tuesday January 21… It’s the big day for Anaïs, who is returning to her duties at Double A. She is worried but can count on the support of Milan. Just like that of Teyssier, who had some arrangements made especially for her. On the other hand, for her return, chef Grimbert prefers that Milan be her second rather than Vic. If the young woman blames it, she doesn’t show it. Despite a few screw-ups, at the end of the service, Anaïs is satisfied and congratulates her brigade. Enough to surprise Pénélope, who does not at all have the same impression as the chef. Vic wants to be optimistic.
Here it all begins in advance: Coline turns her back on Gaspard
For first year students, it’s time to taste their dishes “cooked in the manner of their comrades”. After tasting the preparations, once is not customary, Hortense sees red and raises her voice: “I am extremely disappointed. […] I ask you to tell me what inspires you about your comrades, and you draw caricatures for me. ! It’s low, it’s petty, it’s petty and it’s unworthy of you. […] Get out!” The students do this while looking at their feet.
Later, Gaspard approaches Coline in the park but she, injured, no longer wants to hear from him. She reminds him that she is the only one who went to see him in the hospital unlike the others who don’t care. “while for me, since the beginning of the year, you have done nothing but rot me and humiliate me. […] I felt sorry for you. […] It won’t happen again”, she blurted before turning on her heel.
Later, Gaspard asks Coline to taste the dessert he prepared and named Le Coline. “I want it to be tender and delicious. The kind of dessert when you’re sick…” Gentle as a lamb but true to himself, Gaspard nevertheless manages to make the young woman smile, softened.
Here it all begins in advance: Clotilde makes her mea culpa
Clotilde visits Cléo, once again interned. At first, she is not very receptive but Chef Armand’s apologies give her hope. “I made a mistake, I am sincerely sorry.” Clotilde begins before telling him that she finally believes in his innocence. Why such a turnaround? Because she found the woman Cléo claimed to be with when Gaspard’s clothes were scattered in the Institute grounds. Not enough to exonerate her in the eyes of justice but enough for Clotilde to want to prove that she is not responsible for Gaspard’s misadventures. “Cléo, I want to help you but for that, you have to tell me in detail everything since your arrival at the Institute.” Chef Armand wants to know what she was doing when Gaspard was locked in the shower but Cléo has no alibi since she was hiding at Clotilde’s house. However, she remembers going out and seeing Gaspard arguing with a boy she doesn’t know. Clotilde understands from the description given by Cléo that it is Léonard.
-Here it all begins in advance: Clotilde leads the investigation
In the park, Clotilde goes to meet Léonard, who is in the company of Maya and Quentin. She asks Léo to tell her about his altercation with Gaspard and what he was doing when the latter was attacked. But Léo no longer remembers so Quentin rushes to his aid explaining that they cooked together. A hesitation which surprises the chef Armand, who leaves despite everything.
When they are alone, Léo and Maya ask Quentin why he just lied to chef Armand. “Since you couldn’t remember what you did last week, I was afraid that boss Armand would find it weird. Since she seemed to suspect you, I freaked out,” Quentin justifies himself. Leo being known for his bad memory, the explanation goes like a letter to the post office. Suddenly, Léo has an epiphany and remembers that he was playing a video game at the time of Gaspard’s attack.
Rose tries to dissuade Clotilde from leading the investigation instead of the police. “If she [Cléo] was interned, it’s because of me so it’s up to me to get her out of there. I’m not going to let them lock her up when she hasn’t done anything.”
Here it all begins in advance: Léo makes a terrible discovery
At the café, Malik has Leonard revise the way he Questions for a champion. Despite the young man’s annoyance, Malik continues until Quentin gets angry and asks him to stop. “Fuck stop. He told you to stop. You don’t understand that! You’re making him drunk, you’re pissing us off!” he suddenly belched. Taken aback, Malik leaves and Léo, just as surprised, asks for explanations. “It was my protective side that took over,” recognizes Quentin who promises to apologize. He then slips a “i love you” to Léo, who almost falls off his chair.
Léo then recounts Quentin’s declaration of love to Malik, who advises him to confess to him in return what he feels. “There is no good or bad timing” to say I love you, assures Malik. As a result, Léo runs to join Quentin in the park to confess his feelings. He catches him hiding something under a bush. He goes to see what it is and then discovers Gaspard’s famous red notebook, which was stolen from him last week just before his attack!
