“Have you ever seen Canal+ advertising for C8?” : Live, Cyril Hanouna denounces the lack of consideration of Maxime Saada’s group for “TPMP”

Has the group spirit left Cyril Hanouna? The host of C8, the channel of the group chaired by Maxime Saada, made an unexpected comment in the last part of “Touche pas à mon poste!” this Wednesday, January 15, 2025. When discussing “the love life” of Laure Manaudou, Fabien Lecoeuvre began with a slight digression. “So that’s something you shouldn’t miss. Sunday, January 19, Canal+ will broadcast a documentary called ‘Laure, Laure, Laure!’ (a film by Laurie Delhostal and Guillaume Priou, editor’s note)“.

“On Canal+, we have the impression that ‘Don’t touch my !’ does not exist”

This cross-promotion – planned if we are to believe the speed with which the poster of the documentary was embedded on the screen – was not at all to Cyril Hanouna’s taste. “Are we advertising for Canal+ now? Have you already seen Canal+ advertising for C8? I have never seen Canal+ advertise for C8. On Canal+, we have the impression that ‘Don’t touch my TV!’ doesn’t exist so I don’t see why we would advertise for Canal+“, said the host to the columnist.

Fabien Lecoeuvre to try as best he could to continue: “At the moment, Laure Manaudou is doing all the TV shows to talk about this documentary which is going to be shown…”. “Where is that? On which channel?“, quipped Cyril Hanouna, apparently not satisfied that Fabien Lecoeuvre answered his question at face value. Puremédias invites you to watch the sequence.

As the end of C8 draws near, what does this change in tone reveal? It is still too early to draw conclusions. Until now, Maxime Saada, chairman of the board of directors of the Canal+ group, has – at least officially – always favored keeping the presenter in the group. “Will Cyril Hanouna stay in the Canal+ group? This is what I want, but it is not done.”he explained again on Thursday January 9, 2025 in an interview with “Strategies”. For his part, the host assured on January 6, 2025 that there was “nothing done” concerning its future, and that he was still exploring several avenues: a transfer of the show to CStar, channel 17 on which an adapted version of the show could be broadcast between 6 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., or a launch of the program on a digital platform.
