Jamie Lee Curtis struggled to hold back her tears in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday evening, while the neighborhood where she lives is currently ravaged by flames. “It’s absolutely terrible,” said the 66-year-old actress.

-“As you know, the place where I live is on fire right now. The Pacific Palisades neighborhood is literally burning,” announced Jamie Lee Curtis as soon as she arrived on the New York set of the late-night talk show.
“I arrived [à New York] last night; While I was on the plane, I started receiving messages. It’s a disaster… Obviously, there were horrible fires in several places. This time it’s literally where I live; it’s the market where I do my shopping, it’s my children’s school. Several of my friends lost their homes,” she continued, visibly shaken by the events.
The star of the horror classic Halloween promised to return to Los Angeles “first thing in the morning” on Thursday to reunite with his family and help his friends.
Jamie Lee Curtis was invited to Jimmy Fallon’s set to promote the film The Last Showgirlexpected on our screens on January 17.
