Thursday January 9 at the end of the morning, Fabienne Larouche et Marie-Andrée Labbé made a big announcement regarding the future of the medical series of -.
Starting next fall, STAT will no longer be a daily, and will instead become an annual series of 24 episodes.
In a media interview during a press conference, author Marie-Andrée Labbé explained that she is used to the three-year cycle, for example with her previous series Sans rendez-vous, but in the case of STATshe felt that she had not reached the end of her story.
This is why the decision was made to instead transform the format into 24 episodes lasting one hour, rather than 30 minutes daily, which will allow, according to the author, an “improved” version which will allow certain stories and certain intrigues to be better exploited.

She said she had a lot of pain writing these scenes, but wanted to see how a team deals with their own pain while still keeping the hospital running.
This fall, we will therefore find STAT in an 8 p.m. time slot, somewhere in the week.
