The legendary show Beijing Express celebrates its 20th anniversary and promises an anniversary season rich in emotions, surprises and discoveries. Among the ten competing pairs, a Belgian duo particularly attracts attention: Mattéo and Esméralda, two inseparable cousins who come straight from the Liège region.
For this special edition, Beijing Express has chosen a grandiose setting: Africa, the cradle of humanity. From Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to Johannesburg in South Africa, via Mozambique and Lesotho, the 10 pairs of candidates will discover breathtaking landscapes, unforgettable encounters with local tribes and impressive wildlife.
Liège invites itself on the African route!
Couples, friends, brothers, sisters, father and daughter or even complete strangers: this year, 10 new pairs are embarking on the thrilling adventure of Beijing Express. Among them, the Liège cousins Mattéo, 22, and Esméralda who share much more than family ties: an unfailing bond and a strong personal history. After the loss of her mother, Esméralda strengthened her bond with Mattéo, who was always there for her. Their relationship, almost brotherly, is punctuated by teasing, bickering and above all, unwavering support.
With this adventure, the Liège duo wishes to surpass themselves while enjoying a unique experience. Their humor, their solidarity and their determination will be their best assets to overcome the sometimes formidable ordeals of Beijing Express. For Mattéo and Esméralda, this route will be an opportunity to test their endurance and their complicity in extreme conditions.
