The call for applications for the 2025 edition of Prize for Photography of Quai Branly Museum – Jacques Chiracis open until March 17, 2025.
Since its launch in 2008, the Prix pour la Photographie du musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac has supported contemporary photographic creation. Each year, the museum finances the creations of three winners, selected on the basis of an original project, consistent with their artistic trajectory. It also takes charge of the final production of a selection of these works which then enter the museum’s collection.
The prize is open to photographers or artists using photography, non-European and with no age limit. It aims to promote the diversity of photographic practices and forms of international contemporary creation. Projects which demonstrate an original artistic proposition and are not limited to classic forms of documentary or reporting will be favored. The award has no theme. Although this program does not require a recommendation, it is not aimed at beginner photographers. Particular attention will be paid to the quality of references and experiences.
The conditions of participation and the rules of the program are detailed in the call for applications, downloadable from our website, at the following link (clickable link):
