But the candidate and her comrades had to remain focused because it was a decisive evaluation that awaited them, this Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

As Nikos Aliagas announced during the last bonus, the candidates who remain at the end of the show on November 30 will have the chance to do the tour. If Ebony is already qualified, since she won TOP 3 immunity, the others must fight for their place. “At the end of this week, and before the bonus, there are two of you who will earn your qualification for the tour. That means there are six of you who will not qualify and the six who will not qualify will be put to a public vote. Whoever receives the fewest votes will leave the castle and not participate in the tour“, explained Michaël Goldman on Sunday.

Indeed, a student will be chosen by the teaching staff and Pierre Garnier, present for these evaluations. Another will be designated by the academicians. “We expect you to give us a mini-concert on a song. It's carte blanche, you choose your title. What we expect from you is that you do the performance you would like to do on tour.”continued the director. The pressure was therefore at its peak and everyone worked hard to deliver the best possible performance this Tuesday.

Julie 11/20

Julie's choice fell on It's a belti, by Jean-Jacques Goldman. A risky bet to perform it in front of your son. “I wanted to create a very intimate production, because I think the words speak for themselves,” she explained. Sitting alone on a bench, she performed her performance very gently. Even if we had a little difficulty concentrating at the start because of the presence of Pierre Garnier who hypnotized us, we noted that his performance was nice, but perhaps a little too simple. So we ended up getting a little bored towards the end. Michaël Goldman still had a smile and sang the words. But from there to giving him immunity? Not sure ! Because we remind them, we told them that their voice would not be enough this time.

Charles 18/20

For this evaluation, Charles chose to focus on SOS to an earthling in distressby Daniel Balavoine. He was accompanied by his funny ladies Maureen and Marine, placed two benches, candles and a black background. Everyone had a white top, bringing an even more moving dimension. And for this show it’s either a pass or a bust! The charming 18-year-old blond gave a performance that made us think of that of Grégory Lemarchal (the first interpretation he discovered of this title). Will we tell him that it was too modeled on the winner of season 4? Will this move people to the point of wanting to give him immunity? In any case, he managed his performance from A to Z. But the presence of Marine and Maureen added nothing, it must be said. He still made the effort to propose a staging.

Maureen 17/20

Maureen didn't have much of a voice anymore but… she was still singing before entering the room. It must be said that she is ready to Die on stage (she was therefore dressed all in black). This is the song she chose to perform for these evaluations in a soul/jazz version. After setting up her disco balls in the room, she sat behind her microphone, just like Maïa, Marine and Ebony who played the backing singers. The young woman brought her universe and that must be saluted. And despite her voice which was not at its maximum, she gave a very beautiful performance. The interpretation was there, so we validate! We want to see Maureen on stage.

Maia 15/20

The stress must have been at its peak for the young woman. Appointed last week, she wanted at all costs to avoid being in the hot seat once again. Maïa chose Mama Miaby Abba. A ray of sunshine right down to her performances and her outfit (she wore a white top and a gold skirt). She was accompanied by all her classmates for the occasion and proposed a choreography. A festive moment that had its place on the tour. We wanted to get up and dance from the first notes. The only problem? Technically, she is a little worse than the others. But the moment was so good that we almost forgot it. The teachers too? We would love it, because it’s a performance worthy of a tour.

Ulysses 12/20

His goal? Not to be nominated a fourth time. So, unsurprisingly, Ulysses chose a song from his world. It is aboutOne lifeby Gérald de Palmas. It must be said, the young man left feeling defeated, because he was vocally tired. “It's no use“, he told his comrades before his evaluation. Despite everything, he had to get started. And it was accompanied by all his comrades and obviously his guitar that he put on his show. The others were behind him… to clap his hands So in terms of scenography, it leaves something to be desired Even if he succeeded in his performance, we find that it is a little light given the theme of the evaluation.

Marine 13/20

Once again, everyone was gathered, but this time for Marine's performance. The dentist attacked Celine Dion. She bet on one more evening to woo the faculty and last year's winner. “It was more to talk about music and adventure between us“, she explained. A statement which apparently did not convince Sofia Morgavi. But no matter, she got started, on the piano. Although she sang well, she did not failed to transport us at the level of her interpretation And she made a small mistake during her performance (even if we must emphasize that this did not make her flinch. It was only at the end of the show). that the other students joined him and gave their voice. Not enough in our opinion. Even she was disappointed and ended up in tears when she left. Between her side notes and the moment she stopped during her mistake, she wasn't proud of herself. to console her by emphasizing that it was moving.

Franck 15/20

No Top 3 this week, so the young man will once again avoid performing during the prime and not being selected. On the other hand, he wishes to be one of the two students designated to be directly qualified for the tour. To do this, he chose to interpret Controlby Zoe Wees. And guess what? Everyone else was also present in the room. For the occasion, Franck was dressed all in white and he placed candles around him. With his angelic voice, the young man sang his favorite song and was able to convey emotions through his interpretation (we would just like to tell him to close his eyes less!). Once again, his comrades only came at the end but we can't say that they contributed much because we couldn't hear them (even they wondered if their presence was necessary). We therefore think that he will not have teacher immunity.

Marguerite 18/20

Will she join her friend Ebony on the tour? That's all she wants. Marguerite therefore bet on Pinball Ballby Corynne Charby. For her performance, she wore a black top and jeans, while her classmates wore a white t-shirt and jeans. She wanted to highlight her love for staging, humor and old music. “It was an opportunity for me to show you another side of my world“, she explained. The brunette knows what she wants and we love that. Even if the song is not modern and that could do her a disservice, she gave a very good performance. The scene was superb (special mention for the slow performance of Charles and Ulysses) and there was choreography. We hope that his risk-taking will pay off.

Ebony 19/20

Although she is immune, Ebony wanted to perform during these evaluations. It is Creepby Radiohead, which she chose to impress. She was accompanied by her accomplice Marguerite. Luckily for the others, she wasn't in the running for immunity. Because once again, she made us experience a timeless moment. And from his sound test, Michaël Goldman and Pierre Garnier were already won over. We don't even have the words anymore, it was so masterful. Unsurprisingly, she was entitled to a standing ovation from the teachers, Pierre Garnier and her classmates.

It's difficult to decide between the candidates after all these great performances. If the teachers rely on voice, Charles or Maureen could have immunity. On the other hand, if we base ourselves on the staging, Marguerite and Maïa clearly deserve it. We therefore hope that among the two immunized, there will be one of the four.

PS: a thought for the students who should have their shoulder straps lifted because of their arrival with fanfare before each session.
