Kendji Girac, 27, looks back on the dramatic event that occurred a few months ago, when he was shot. Frédéric Lopez, who had left with the singer to film a Rendezvous in Unknown Land just before the tragedy, was overwhelmed by his sincerity. “Out of curiosity,” laughs the host, Kendji chose to redo his sequence a second time.
“I would have understood very well if he didn't want to come back to it. It's his private life, and he entrusted it to me“, explains Frédéric Lopez. However, when he asked him in July if he wanted to discuss the subject, Kendji accepted. The young artist admits to having felt the need to cut off with the outside world after this episode which could have cost him the life. “I was wondering about being a father (…) but for the first time in my life, I took a beating and my morale was at its lowest point.“, he confides with emotion.

If the show addresses serious subjects, humor is never far away with Dany Boon. The actor and comedian Ch'ti gently teased Kendji about his misadventure: “No selection for the Olympic Shooting Games for you this year my Kendji! You have to aim for the targets, not receive them!“, he said mischievously. A joke which lightened the atmosphere and made the main person smile.
Virginie Grimaldi, a successful novelist whose books are exported very well abroad, completes this trio of colorful guests. Frédéric Lopez wanted to bring them together because despite their modest origins, all three of them have become references in their field, acclaimed by a wide audience.
