Teddy Riner and his partner Luthna Plocus will host a reality show on Netflix

The sportsman and his partner will host the French adaptation of the famous Netflix dating show.

A success around the world, the program offers singles the opportunity to get to know each other, but without seeing each other.

The teams and candidates are currently filming in Morocco.

He is taking on a new challenge. And not least. After thrilling the French during the Olympic Games, Teddy Riner will try his hand at animation. The five-time gold medalist and Luthna Plocus, his partner and mother of his two children, will take the helm of the French version of “Love is Blind”, the famous dating show from Netflix. “A new adventure together”rejoiced Luthna Plocus in a story on Instagram, accompanied by a photo of her and her famous partner.

Launched in February 2020 and adapted in many countries (Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Mexico, United Kingdom and even United Arab Emirates), the program offers singles the opportunity to find love. For ten days, around fifteen women and around fifteen men live in two separate lofts. They have the opportunity to get to know each other in capsules where they can talk to each other, but without ever seeing each other.

Is love really blind?

Once they are certain of their choice, they can propose to each other and finally discover each other physically. The engaged couples then go on vacation for a week before meeting their respective families. Until the wedding day, when they decide to put the ring on their finger… or not!

Produced by ITV Studios (to whom we owe “The Voice” and “Love Island”), “Love is Blind” is expected in 2025 on Netflix. After a detour through Sweden where the lofts are located, the teams and candidates are currently in Morocco.
