A devastating cancer
Over the past few months, Kirk had her dog seen by veterinarians after learning he was suffering from leukemia. The animal benefited from chemotherapy which was initially effective, but which was not enough. The health of Ben deteriorated significantly following the last treatment.
However, Kirk still harbored the hope that his best friend could survive. Ben had to undergo extensive examinations to determine whether or not he could be saved. Unfortunately, scans revealed that the cancer had spread throughout his body: “ The cancer had spread to all of Ben's organs and there was nothing we could do. », he wrote on X in a publication relayed by KBTX.
A difficult start
