“HPI”: filming of the final season begins this Monday in the North, which municipalities are affected?

This time, it feels like the end: this fifth season of HPI, which begins filming this Monday, November 18 in the North, will be the last. The most watched series in France for 20 years will conclude the adventures of Morgane and Karadec, who became parents at the end of season 4.

The first two episodes will be shot during an initial one-month filming phase. From this Monday, residents of the North can therefore expect to come across the cameras of Itinéraire Productions, especially if they live in the following municipalities: Lille, Lezennes, Linselles, Mons-en-Barœul, Roubaix, Sailly-lez- Lannoy, and outside the Lille metropolis, a quick trip to Flanders, to Saint-Sylvestre-Cappel and from tomorrow to Terdeghem, notably to the café le Cromwell, with a group of bikers.

What are the writers planning?

The two main screenwriters Alice Chegaray-Breugnot and Julien Anscutter are very happy to be able to “ write a beautiful ending » to the series before “ tire “. They know where they want to go and take the characters to conclude the adventure. At the start of season 5, we will find Karadec and Morgane, now parents of little Léo, living together at Karadec. But cohabitation will be complicated.

To complete the 8 episodes of this final season, the broadcast of which should begin next spring, four months of filming will be necessary, at a rate of two weeks per episode. For this first phase of filming, until mid-December, director Vincent Jamain is in charge. Absent from season 4, he directed several episodes of seasons 1, 2 and 3.
