“Flo grows corn for the cows, so we thought why not try popcorn. So we embarked on this project, it allows us both to be together, even if I also go to the farm to help him on the weekends“, says Lola.
The hardest part was finding the special popcorn corn seed. Then, it was enough to set up the workshop and develop the recipes: cinnamon, sugar or curry. Pop’Creuse was born last September, and it is already a hit, particularly on the markets.
“In each market, between two and three hundred seals are made, depending on the crowd there. For a start, it’s okay”, welcomes Florian. “For a start, we are surprised, we are happy“, continues Lola.

For the moment, Florian has only sown half a hectare of popcorn corn, among his conventional corn.
“Don’t break a tooth“, he says to his girlfriend! In the middle of the field, Lola crunches a grain of corn. Florian too. They both agree: the corn is not quite ripe yet, even if we don’t It’s not far from it.
Their Pop’Creuse is a commercial project of course, but above all it’s a very good opportunity for these two to spend time together.
