After “STAT”, Ludivine Reding lands a role in “L’aréna”

After having enjoyed great success on the Noovo channel last winter, the comedy L’aréna will be back for a second season. Read what we thought about it here.

Now a second season is actively being prepared and already promises to entertain us, through humorous sketches taking place under the theme of arenas, whether in the locker rooms, on the ice or even in the canteen. These 12 new episodes will also see the arrival of Carla (Érika Suarez) at the heart of the plot, who is the sister of Natalia (Mariana Mazza).

Jean-François Provençal also interferes in this world of self-deprecation with the character of Bob, a new employee of the arena. Marc Beaupré and Leila Thibeault Louchem respectively reprise their roles as François and Valérie, the parents of young Jacob (Léo Mai).

Sketches deployed throughout the 2nd season were also written expressly for certain actors, including Ludivine Reding, who plays nurse Sophia St-Jean in STAT. Several well-known personalities who participated in the previous edition of Big Brother Celebrities alongside Érika will receive the same honor, namely Joëlle Paré-Beaulieu, Danick Martineau and Daniel Savoie. Élodie Grenier, the interpreter of Passe-Partout, will also be there, as will comedian Mario Tessier.

In addition, in order to launch the new season of the series on familiar ground, Noovo will rebroadcast the entire first season on its airwaves, from November 18, from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. firstly, the next episodes of The arena will not be broadcast on Noovo.

Remember that last winter, Valérie Blais, who plays Patricia in the series, had to make a heartbreaking choice. Details here.

The 2nd season of L’aréna will be available exclusively on CRAVE, from January 9, with 2 episodes per week.
