Remember that Bournival sparked strong reactions regarding his participation (as well as his comments, behaviors and actions on his social networks) in the documentary Alphaspresented Monday at Télé-Québec. This documentary explores the so-called “traditional” roles of men and women.

During his intervention at Everyone is talking about itChristine Beaulieu still seemed in shock at the words made by the man. However, she took the time to clarify her point of view during her interview with Sébastien Diaz.

Here’s what she said:

“I didn’t know who it was Andrew Tateso I watched the documentary, obviously, before going to Everyone is talking about it. Then, what comes out of that, you know, is a huge insecurity on the part of these men. A fear, a lack of self-confidence, while the rest of them want to show how strong, dominant and protective they are. And I, let’s say, I look at Andrew Tate and I see anything but a strong man. I see a guy who lacks self-confidence, who is very insecure, who is afraid and who therefore needs to have cash, a tank, muscles and to dominate! […] But don’t make me believe that when you want your wife to stay at home, it’s for her own safety. It’s for your safety! Your insecurity speaks through that. […] Young men are influenced by these guys, but that’s not what a real strong man is. A strong man is a man […] who has a power to be proud, honestly. It’s Louis who puts Véro on a pedestal. He’s my boyfriend [Roy Dupuis] who says to me, “go ahead, make your film in a skirt on your golf course” […] then to say “Christine, you are beautiful, you are good, you shine as much as possible” […] So there, if the examples of strong men are these guys for young men, it’s very, very upsetting.”
