It’s been more than three years since Julien Cohen left Deal done. The former buyer of the show, then hosted by Sophie Davant, returned to Tele-Leisure on his departure and his plans.
Deal done is a sure bet on France 2. On the air since August 2017, the show was presented by Sophie Davant before Julia Vignali replaced her from August 2023. Among the program’s specialists, viewers were used to seeing Julien Cohen and his famous blue glasses. If he made an impression with his outspokenness and his formidable business sense, he left the auction show in 2021.
Julien Cohen is “moved on” and will not return in Deal done
Since then, he admits to having distanced himself from the show and the buyers. “I have some affinities with Caroline Ponswho is a friend of mine, and with Clement Anger. These are the two people I stayed in touch with.”Julien Cohen tells us. From there to consider making a return in Deal done or an appearance for a special issue for example? Not at the moment. “Once I’ve done something and moved on anything else, I won’t come back to it again.”he blurted out during our interview. After 1,557 appearances on the France 2 program, the antique dealer seems to have done the trick: “When you make 1500, it’s because you want to please some people other than yourself.”
An imminent return to television for Julien Cohen but not on France 2
Caroline Margeridon’s former colleague will make his return to television next Thursday, November 5, with the presentation of a brand new broadcast on 6Ter as a bonus. He will be in command of Kings of lost packages. An entertainment in which three duos compete in the aim of finding rare pearls in the mystery packages and thus reap the most profits. A new role that Julien Cohen really liked: “I loved this exercise. Putting others forward is very nice.” A return with great fanfare for him who will also be in a flagship M6 program very soon.
