“I say what I want”, Kad Merad reframes a speechless Flavie Flament in “Télématin”

He is starring in Claude Lelouche's latest film, “Eventually”, which is released on November 13, 2024, in cinemas. But Kad Merad can't resist replaying the comicseven in interviews. The former member of the hilarious duo Kad and Olivier, demonstrated this on November 12, 2024, against Flavie Flament.

Guest of Télématin, the show previously presented by his wife, Julia Vignali, Kad Merad was faithful to the humor that made him famous. To the question of the host who asked him: “So the trumpet is a pipe?he of course replied: “Well no it’s a trumpet“.

Flavie Flament surprised by his response

And while Benjamin Castaldi's ex insisted: “No, but you don't know how to play the trumpet”, Kad Merad took a falsely serious tone. He explained: “So first, I'll say what I want, no one will check.”

The star of “Who killed Pamela Rose?” added: “No, no, I really play the trumpet. Listen, it was Ibrahim who coached me as they say. But you know Flavie, maybe you don't know it, but I'm originally a musician. I started with music. So I have the musicality, let’s say, in me.”

Flavie Flament then recalled the musical sketches from her comic past: “We saw it with Jean-Michel Apeuprè, Jean-Michel Videchiote, that’s it”. And Kad Merad then confirmed: It's Jean-Michel playing the trumpet roughlybut that already allows you to believe that I play the trumpet“.

Kad Merad plays the instrument well

To conclude, the one who shares the film's poster with Elsa Zylberstein, Michel Boujenah, Sandrine Bonnaire, Barbara Pravi, Françoise Fabian and Clémentine Célarié: But I sometimes act in the movie“.

The original music is of course by Ibrahim Maalouf, who also appears on screen, in his own role. On the cinema side, this is not the Lebanese artist's first attempt.

Before this feature film, he also composed the soundtrack for “Stay a little” by Gad Elmaleh, in 2022. Previously, he had also signed those of “Yves Saint Laurent” by Jalil Lespert and “The Cream of the Cream” by Kim Chapiron, in 2014.
