Claire Chazal and André Manoukian honor Overseas Territories in the new issue of Le Grand échquier, renowned personalities invited

The Grand Chessboard returns to the screen. This Thursday, October 31, 2024, the live show will this time be in the spotlight from the Quai Branly museum. Claire Chazal and André Manoukian resume their roles as presenters and invite viewers to immerse themselves in the riches of the overseas territories. For the occasion, several personalities agreed to make the trip to pay tribute to Christiane Eda-Pierre, Nina Simone and Henri Salvador.

On the set will then appear: Kassav (Jocelyne Béroard, Jean-Claude Naimro), Christiane Taubira, Manu Payet, Laurent Voulzy, Stefi Celma, Harry Roselmack, Axelle Saint-Cirel, Mareva Galanter, Kareen Guiock-Thuram, Marijosé Alie, Dany Dann , Tété, Kalash, Voyou, Eto, Romuald Grimbert-Barré, Christine Salem, Bertrand Dicale, Jérémy Frérot, Emmanuel Kasarhérou, Marie-Laure Garnier, Pene Pati. There will also be Axelle Rascar Moutoussamy, Eddy Kelly, Eve Tibère, Joseph Decange, Ludivine Turinay, Livia Louis-Joseph Dogué, Auguste Truel and Marie-Laure Garnier. In addition, the Appassionato orchestra, conducted by Mathieu Herzog, will accompany this evening with musicians Jean-Philippe Fanfant (drums), Thierry Fanfant (bass) and Mino Cinelu (percussion).

Two weeks dedicated to Overseas on France Télévisions

This number of Large chessboard is part of the sixth edition of the annual meeting dedicated to Overseas Territories. For two consecutive weeks, from October 16 to 31, very special programming is set up on all France Télévisions channels. Documentaries, magazines, films, music, entertainment… The history of our territories is highlighted.
