SERIES – Working as a couple can sometimes be dangerous, but apparently not for Muriel Robin and Anne Le Nen. The duo is back this Thursday, October 17 for the second season of Master Crimes on TF1, after a successful first season in terms of audiences last year. For these six new episodes, the two women have always had so much fun playing each other.

“Being together for four months, on set, is very nice. To do this, you need to have admiration for the actress that is your partner. We can’t lie to ourselves about that”reveals Muriel Robin in an interview with 20 Minutes. According to her, the presence of the couple on screen is even one of the reasons for the success of the Franco-Belgian production, because some of the spectators wanted “see how a couple plays together.”

The presence of Anne Le Nen was even an essential condition for such a long shoot, also confides the actress and comedian, in an interview for West . “If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t do a four-month shoot with anyone else. I need to see her every day. After 18 years of living together, we have reached a stage in our relationship that is in total harmony. So nothing bad can happen on set,” assure Muriel Robin.

An even more humorous season 2

In Master Crimesthe comedian plays the role of criminology professor Louise Arbus, traumatized by having convicted an innocent person in the past, while his partner plays that of police captain Barbara Delandre. Marwen Abdallah’s detective series was both funny and touching to attract more than 4.5 million viewers on average in its first season, allowing it to be renewed for six new episodes.
