This Monday, October 14, 2024 marks the opening of the Christmas TV movie season on TF1. From Monday to Friday, the first channel will broadcast two fictions in a row, just after the soap opera Life is more beautiful, even more beautiful.
Two stars of Life at five reunited!
Today, at 2:20 p.m., viewers will discover My fairy tale for Christmas (Titre original : A Merry Scottish Christmas), a new TV film which has the particularity of bringing together on screen Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf. From 1994 to 2000, the actors were brother and sister in fiction, since they played Bailey and Claudia Salinger in the series Life at Five. This teen drama also revealed to the general public Matthew Fox (Lost), Neve Campbell (the saga Scream) et Jennifer Love Hewitt (911).
“Since the end of La Vie à cinq, 23 years ago (the TV film was broadcast in 2023 on the Hallmarck channel, in the United States, editor’s note) I hoped we would work together again.” rejoiced Lacey Chabert in the columns of TV Guide. And to continue: “Scott has always been a part of my life. More than a friend, he is a member of the family. It was so exciting to have this chance to come together and tell this story together. It was like a dream come true.”
My fairy tale for Christmas takes viewers to Scotland
As an obvious nod to the series that made her famous, Scott Wolf and Lacey Chabert play brother and sister again in My fairy tale for Christmas. The latter play respectively Lindsay and Brad, whose mother invites them to spend Christmas in Scotland.
