The 76-year-old actress revealed in an interview with People that she burst into tears when she was able to put on an Armani dress.
Kathy Bates appeared very slim during the Emmy Awards evening on September 15. The actress of Misery et Titanic has in fact lost nearly 45 kilos over the last seven years as reported by the magazine People . Interviewed by the American media, she talks about the emotion she felt during this event which rewards American television personalities. She then opted for a dress by Giorgio Armani and explains that, thanks to her weight loss, “she was able to go” to this designer “for the first time in a long time because [elle] barely fit into their largest size. In the company of the friend who accompanied her for the fitting (and who had introduced her to the Italian designer) she was “in tears because everything[elle] wore was exquisite.
Kathy Bates therefore appreciated the fact of finally being able to be dressed in a creation by the Italian master. And was seduced by the result when seeing the photos of the event revealed in the press. “The photos taken on the red carpet were so different from any I had taken before. I felt really relaxed and ready. I knew I felt good and looked great.”
