New year and new promotion for Star Academy!

L’iconic TF1 show resumed, Saturday October 12, with the presentation of the 15 selected candidates.

And among them… a Vendéen !

Masséoat the age of 18, is the youngest candidate of this new season.

Originally from Soullanshe made a colorful entrance on stage, with a cover of the title Beggin’, by Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. A performance which also allowed him to show off his dancing talents.

“You will be able to perfect your hip-hop, and learn other worlds,” Malika Benjelloun, the show’s dance teacher, promised him with a smile.

Campsites at Star Academy

From Vendée and proud of it, Masséo has been homeschooling for two years, in order to progress in singing, dancing, but also on the piano and guitar.

Influenced by artists like Ariana Grande, Beyoncé and Tayc, Masséo has already released two solo pieces of music (available on streaming platforms).

Speaking to our colleagues from France Bleu, he confided that he had been used to playing in front of the public since he was 13, since he performs in the summer in campsites in the department, such as in Saint-Jean-de-Monts or in Saint-Jean-de-Monts. Gilles-Croix-de-Vie.

Viewers will be able to find Masséo every day, in the daily program, or every Saturday, during the bonuses, where he will fight to keep his place in the adventure.
