“He does not deserve to stay any more than another OQTF”, actor Abou Sangaré facing the anger of a “TPMP” star

It’s a film released in theaters this October 9 and who has not finished talking. Souleymane’s story by Boris Lojkine is that of a meal delivery man who must pass his asylum interview. A film which received two awards at the last Film Festival and whose main role is played by Abou Sangaré. The actor 23 year old Guinean was spotted in while working illegally in a garage. Friday October 4, he was the guest of “C à vous” on 5. An invitation that is far from unanimous.

For what ? Because Abou Sangaré is in a special situation. He is under OQTF ; in other words in the Obligation to leave French territory. Without family in France, his regularization was refused three times. Furthermore, the Prefecture criticizes him for not providing any pay slips. A situation that made some columnists jump on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” this October 8.

The Abou Sangaré case: Jean-Michel Maire lets his anger explode

Faced with Cyril Hanouna, the tone is raised. Jean-Michel Maire began by defending his remarks : “Just because you’re an actor doesn’t mean you’re above the law.”It’s an OQTF like the others” he declared before adding: “He doesn’t deserve to stay any more than another OQTF who didn’t ask for anything but who has to leave“The conversation then continued and Baba said to himself not surprised by Gilles Verdez’s response. “I want him to be regularized but I want all undocumented immigrants to be regularized” he said to his stunned comrades. “Mousieur, always more” then nicknamed him Cyril Hanouna.

The host then asked: “Why is it OQTF?“. To which Gilles Verdez replied that he had “three administrative refusals because he does not agree with the reasons for staying in France“. Then Fatou’s companion concluded. “It’s not because he’s an actor that he has to come before others.. What bothers me is that we are going to take over his case, he is a wonderful actor but he does not have to have privilege“.
