In episode 2 of season 2 currently available on Paramount+, Daryl passionately kisses Isabelle, who has become a nun. To the great despair of fans Daryl and Isabelle will not be a new couple in the universe of Walking Dead like Rick and Michonne or Glenn and Maggie.

Norman Reedus especially does not want to give the impression that a romantic relationship has developed between his character and that of Isabelle.
