This is one of the flagship episodes of the collection of detective TV films. Originally broadcast in March 2019, Murders in Lorraine is rebroadcast on Thursday October 3, 2024 on France 3. In this fiction which attracted more than 4.7 million viewers when it was released, Stéphane Bern plays gendarmerie lieutenant Nicolas Muller.

Filmed over four months in the summer of 2018, the TV film

Stéphane Bern imposed a filming in the region of his childhood

After the release of Murders in LorraineStéphane Bern confided in the columns of Tele-Leisure about this new experience. The one who had lost ten kilos to play Nicolas Muller had thus explained having imposed the filming in the region.

To justify his decision, the host of
History Secrets
had indicated: “That was my only condition. When we mentioned a Murders in…, I said ‘in Lorraine’. I would have dreamed of filming in Nancy, where I spent my childhood. We never talk about this region, even though the people there are very warm.”. A condition which was finally respected and which therefore allowed Stéphane Bern to find your roots the time of a shoot.
