The mystery continues to hover around Étienne from Occupation Double, who completely disappeared from the episodes for a week, before reappearing to announce that he was leaving the adventure immediately, due to a personal situation.
The saga fascinated fans of the popular romantic reality TV show for several days and the wildest rumors began to circulate since the production did not communicate anything on the subject, probably hoping that viewers would not notice the absence of Étienne des Maisons.
It was finally at the very end of the Thursday episode of that week that we saw Étienne again. In a superimposed text during the broadcast, we could read “For personal reasons, Étienne was absent for 48 hours. »
Then, we saw the young man address the other candidates to tell them the sad news. “In the last two days I was not in the adventure because I have a personal situation and that forces me to withdraw and come home,” he announced in front of the other candidates, visibly very shaken by the news.
“I really wanted to tell you this in person. I look forward to seeing you again. Happy season guys! »
He then visited the candidates in his house to explain the situation to them.
“You noticed, I haven’t been here for two days because I have a personal situation that forces me to leave the adventure. My journey ends immediately. We’re all going to see each other again. I wanted to tell you how attached I am to each of you. You are fantastic. »
We still don’t know what forced the young man to end his OD experience so abruptly, but we know that he is indeed back in Quebec and surrounded by those he loves.
Étienne Bernard actually published a photo in his Instagram story, his first publication since leaving the adventure. In the photo, we see him smiling in the company of two people who are presumed to be his parents.

We must say that it warms the heart to know he is well looked after. With the mystery surrounding his departure from Occupation Double, many rumors began to circulate. And since no information was communicated, many began to imagine the worst.
