First teaser for the four-episode series airs on Disney+

Disney + has been broadcasting a promotional clip since Wednesday revealing the very first images of Dream Productionsin French Dreams Productionsthe animated series version of the franchise Vice VersaWith this new format, Pixar intends to ride the wave of the success of the two feature films, analyzes the specialized site Widescreen this Wednesday. Inside Out 2 is indeed expected to be the highest-grossing film of 2024.

It has already grossed $1.68 billion, making it a top 10 box office hit of all time. The one-minute teaser reveals that the series will have four episodes and will begin airing on December 11. “We’re going to show you how a dream is made,” a character announces. Dreams Productions was thus conceived in the form of a fake documentary.

A dream creation studio

The series, which was announced to begin production in May 2024, shows behind the scenes of the studio that creates Riley’s dreams and questions the various players in the process. Pixar’s artistic director Pete Docter had explained that the company had in mind for the future “projects capable of attracting mass audiences, many of which will be sequels or spin-offs.”
