Why the TF1 series has everything it takes to become a cult classic

Fanny Le Goff, a renowned biologist, returns to the (imaginary) university of Brocéliande, near the village where she grew up and where she studied. 20 years earlier, a news item forced her to leave the region. During the Halloween party, her best friend disappeared. Fanny was the last person to see her (after an argument and then a reconciliation) but no longer remembers anything. Even more worrying, she woke up in the forest, armed with a machete stained with her friend’s blood…

The series Broceliande mixes two eras, and two disappearances, since Fanny’s return to Brocéliande will coincide with a new disappearance, of a biology student, in similar circumstances. Are you intrigued? That was the goal.

Already a success

TF1 is counting on this series, which features Nolwenn Leroy, a Breton but not an actress, in the title role. The stated objective of the first channel is to regain the lead on Monday evenings, systematically won by M6 during the broadcast periods of L’amour est dans le pré.
