In France, the multiplication of conflicts has prompted the executive to strengthen the defense budget, +46 % since 2017. This has notably resulted in a stop of military barracks. These institutions are often vital for the cities in which they have settled. One of our teams went to Thionville (Moselle), for a 48 -hour immersion with the soldiers, to try to understand their daily life inside the site and outside.
