After fourteen successful seasons, the first channel ended the broadcast of its detective series to the great dismay of viewers. To please fans, TF1 nevertheless announced the release of a special double episode to put an end to the intrigue of Research section. After more than a year of absence, the detective fiction bringing together Xavier Deluc, Fabienne Carat and Franck Sémonin marked its big return to the small screen in the form of special episodes.

According to a video shared on Fabienne Carat's Instagram account, the gang led by Xavier Deluc is preparing to reform for new adventures. Unlike the previous episodes which took place in the sun, the double special episode of Research section titled “Blood Snow” should take place in a mountainous region. “Turn hot in freezing cold! One day, yes, it was possible“wrote the actress in the caption of a video where she reveals behind the scenes. Contrary to what one might think, the teams of Research section do not actually shoot in freezing cold, but in the studio.

Fans of Research section will obviously meet Xavier Deluc, the unforgettable Commander Martin Bernier. The star of Tomorrow belongs to us will be joined by Fabienne Carat and Franck Sémonin, who will respectively reprise their roles as Commander Jeanne Lorieux and Lieutenant Lucas Auriol. Félicité Chaton (Victoire Cabral) will also be there, as will Claire Borotra, seen recently in Dead man on the beach.
