After 6 episodes which fascinated TF1 viewers, Erica bowed out this January 20 in a successful finale… but which could have been completely different! Gérémy Crédeville, who plays Lucas in the series, gave details about the scene he originally shot and which was cut. A sequence which gives heavy information about Anna’s future…
End clap for Erica who lifted the veil on the final episode of its first season this January 20. After three weeks spent every Monday evening watching the TF1 series, viewers were able to discover the outcome of the plot The stonemasonas well as the progress of the heart, couple and family stories of the eponymous heroine played by Julie de Bona, and of her sister Anna, played for her part by Maud Baecker.
Another finaleErica could have been broadcast, but was cut!
And, precisely, Erica’s youngest daughter is at the heart of the series finale. If we are happy to see the novelist spending happy days with Patrick (Grégory Fitoussi), with whom she had a child, the future seems much less peaceful for Anna. In the final moments of the final episode, we see Lucas, her violent ex, heading towards the house with his gun. Has he done something irreparable? His interpreter Gérémy Crédeville gave his opinion on the matter by detailing the scene that should have been in Ericabut was ultimately cut.
Installing a feeling of terror throughout the six episodes of the TF1 series, Lucas is the man who shared Anna’s life, and who abuses her physically and psychologically. After leaving him, then getting back together with him, the young woman finally and definitively slammed the door in his face, and finds love in the arms of a new man. It is also with her lover that she is when Lucas is armed. A scene which should have gone much further originally, but which Gérémy Crédeville shot.
Gérémy Crédeville details the shocking end that should have taken place between Lucas and Anna
« Lucas is in his car armed. In the distance he sees his ex-partner who has started a new life with someone. He gets out of the car with his gunhe explained in Tele-Leisurebefore revealing what should have happened after this broadcast sequence. Lucas then enters the house armed and goes upstairs where Anna and her lover are.«
« The end of the end is thatthere are three people in the room, and we hear two shots…without seeing who fired them! So we don’t know who dies. The last shot is a drone shot that goes up and zooms out on the house. » So the happy ending of season 1 could not have seen the light of day in the face of this big cliffhanger… Enough to make you want to quickly see the rest!
