The body of a woman was found in Luçon, in Vendée, the Roche-sur-Yon public prosecutor's office said on Saturday January 18, 2025. A source within the gendarmerie specifies that the companion confessed to the murder.
The victim, “a woman born in 1955”has been “discovered lifeless by the gendarmes in Luçon”specified the Roche-sur-Yon public prosecutor’s office. “An individual was arrested and taken into custody”he added.
Drunk, he confesses
According to the gendarmerie, the woman's companion, aged 61, confessed on the evening of Friday January 17, while he was drunk, at the Cambrai hospital (Hauts-de-France), saying he had killed by strangulation two days earlier.
