Hence a breathtaking odyssey, but which does not escape the conventions of the genre. The fact remains that, beneath the clichés, there is a prankish and ferocious spirit which, by changing the face of the world, denounces the attitude of rich countries.

After 15 years spent on the Côte d’Azur, Sandra, former Miss Pas-de Calais, returns to settle with her mother in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Having left school without a diploma, Sandra has to settle for a job as a worker at the local cannery. His boss becomes a little too enterprising. While she tries to defend herself, Sandra accidentally kills him… Allan Mauduit (“Vilaine”) draws his inspiration from the Coen brothers to sign this black comedy populated by a sumptuous gallery of broken arms. Cécile de France, Audrey Lamy and Yolande Moreau delight us with their prolet characters with delightful DNA, one foot in Ken Loach, the other in Tarantino.
