The Brain: strategies in danger after an unexpected return

In The Brain, every strategic decision can become a masterstroke or a fatal mistake. The January 10 episode is no exception to this rule, with a major upheaval: the return of Nicolo to the competition. Eliminated after a daring strategy led by Vincent, his comeback is made possible by the abandonment of Anaïs, destabilizing the alliances and carefully developed plans.

Nicolo makes his return and shakes up the teams

While the brains of the day – Marwa, Benoît and Nabil – had concluded a pact to form balanced teams, the departure of Anaïs complicates the situation. Nicolo’s return turns everything upside down, especially for Marwa and Benoît, who see Nabil betray their agreement.

Against all expectations, Nabil chose Thomas in his team, abandoning Marwa, who was counting on this candidate. “You’re turning it upside down on Benoît and me”declares a Marwa visibly annoyed by the about-face of Nabil, although known to be “a man of principles”.

Marwa finds herself in an uncomfortable configuration with Vincent, Jonathan and Nicolo. For the latter, teaming up with his rival Vincent is far from ideal: “It’s going to be nice to be in a team with Vincent who wanted to clear me out the day before! »he confides with sarcasm.

Benoît plays the protection card

For his part, Benoît sets up a new pact concluded with Vivian. By integrating Carla and Solène into his team, he hopes to be protected in the event of defeat. If his team loses, he plans for Solène to choose Carla for the elimination duel, thus avoiding her being designated.

For Carla, this configuration only increases her anxiety: “I wonder how we are going to manage with 3 of us when there are 4 of them”she confides. Fortunately, the dean announces an advantage for their team: a fourth member who is surprising to say the least since it is a model. Unsurprisingly, Carla opts for Maïssane, hoping that her aura gives them a chance of winning the event.

A high-voltage topical event

The teams’ objective is clear: to avoid last place, synonymous with danger. In the 2024 topical test, each team must nominate a player who will not participate in the test, but who will go into the answer checker. Vivian, Marwa and Solène are chosen, a choice that Vivian strongly criticizes: “With Solène in the checker, Benoît and Carla will have less chance of winning”.

Despite everything, Benoît and Carla accept the risk, fearing the sentence predicted by the answer checker. “I don’t want to get all the paint in my face”Benoît jokes.

A fierce fight for immunity

The opposing teams finish tied with two correct answers. Benoît and Carla now have an unexpected opportunity: if they score more than two points, their team will be immune. If they tie, a new round will decide the winner. But with less than two correct answers, they will all find themselves in the hot seat, including Solène. As tension mounts, the contestants fight for survival in the competition.

An ending full of twists and turns

The last episode of The Cerveau promises unforgettable moments, between unexpected alliances and calculated betrayals. Who will be immune? Which players will risk elimination? And how will Nicolo’s return influence the rest of the game?
