M6 broadcast this Thursday evening the finale of season 13 of Best Pastry Chef. Timothya 16-year-old high school student from Lyon currently residing in Switzerland, was one of three candidates still in the running for the title.

The one everyone calls “Timo” has finally triumphed over his adversaries Remember et José at the end of three tests where the young man did not fail to highlight his talent for pastry. The three candidates had to first make a cake reflecting their dearest wish before making the queen galette by the famous pastry chef Nina Métayer present for the occasion.

The final test of the adventure allowed Timothée and Tsiory to decide between themselves after the elimination of José. The high school student from Lyon ended up convincing Mercotte, Cyril Lignac, Pierre Herme and those present for this last tasting with a signature vanilla-raspberry-Espelette pepper cake. He becomes the youngest winner of the M6 ​​pastry competition with the publication of his recipe book, which is scheduled to be published on January 13.

Before his participation in season 13 of Best Pastry ChefTimothée had the opportunity to confide in the writing of Lyon Women on its strengths. “I am not losing my means. I try to be calm and responsive. If I ever have a problem, I react and find a plan B, a plan C… I never give up!“, he declared. Timothée is today followed by more than 138,000 people on Instagram.
