Unveiled in 2022, the feature film by Laurent Tuel is returning to the small screen in the company of a lovely cast, made up of Frédéric Diefenthal, Murielle Huet des Aunay, Louis Bernard, and even Etienne Diallo and Camille Durand. On the menu, nothing less than a powder thriller, which has everything to delight fans of the genre, starting with intriguing filming locations.
Snow : the composure of an investigator put to the test…
It is in the middle of winter that our TV film will take place… In turn, in the same region, two notables will be found dead. Obviously, the two victims were killed in identical conditions, enough to put investigators on edge. At the time, Thomas Delhaye, a police captain suffering from hearing problems, will make the connection with another case. This is that of serial killer Hugo Czarlewski, who operated in the area a few years ago. Determined to pursue this lead, he will release Juliette Hémon, ex-wife and accomplice of the murderer, from prison, having served 20 years in prison…
When the snow almost didn’t fall
Just like other productions signed France Télévisions such as Black track, Black as snow or even Deaths at the top, Snow was put between Savoie and the Haute Maurienne valley. However, if the area is renowned for its abundant snowfall, know that it almost ran out! Fortunately this was not the case, as Frédéric Diefenthal explained to our colleagues at Tele-Leisurewhen being questioned about the filming locations : “There was a snowstorm the day before filming. Which was rather good timing since there was just starting to run out of snow! Then, the weather was nice, it was sunny. Besides, if you notice, the fiction never takes place in the gray I have already filmed two or three times in the high mountains and I still remember, but there were never difficult filming conditions. Murielle (Huet des Aunay, his partner, editor’s note) had some nice scenes in the snow, and me two or three, but frankly, it was ok Filming in Combloux and in the region was a good choice of location, because we are not crushed by the mountains: they are there, we. sees them but there is also a perspective.”
