Steel Panther drummer Stix Zadinia recently said during an interview with the podcast Iron City Rocks that the band is actively exchanging ideas for their seventh studio album. Although no specific timeline is set yet, Zadinia described the group's creative process as constantly evolving: “We are still writing. It's an ongoing process. When we have enough interesting ideas, we work them into demos, and then we move on to recording.”
Ideas that float, but a well-established style
Steel Panther, known for their exaggeratedly provocative glam metal style, has always featured bold and humorous lyrics. Zadinia said these words play a central role in their success: “People embrace our texts because they offer a means of escape. We make music that comes from the heart, without following rules.”
Since his first album Feel The Steel in 2009, the band established themselves as a jubilant caricature of 1980s metal excess, combining explosive guitar solos, theatrical performances and unconventional lyrics.
