INTERVIEW. On the occasion of the Christmas special of Everyone wants to take their place broadcast this Monday, December 23, Blaise makes his comeback alongside other champions of the France 2 game. Before his visit, the candidate made confidences to Télé-Loisirs.
It’s a great gift that Cyril Féraud offers to fans of Everyone wants to take their place. The host of the France 2 game brings together 13 former emblematic champions on the set to compete for the benefit of the association The Phoenix Elves, of which he is the godfather. Among the candidates who will compete this Monday, December 23, Blaise, 76 victories on the clock, will make his comeback on the show which allowed him to win a prize pool of 67,000 euros at the end of 2023. The teacher-researcher from Toulouse had marked viewers with his humor and his complicity with Jarry. Before the broadcast of this special issue, he spoke to Télé-Loisirs.

How were you contacted to participate in Everyone wants to take their place, the return of the champions ?
It was the production that offered me this special. She called me saying that it was Cyril Féraud's desire to bring the champions back to the stage. I didn't know if I was available but I figured I would work it out with my schedule. It's always a pleasure to see everyone again and participate in this game.
Did you know the other champions before filming?
I had seen Enzo and Isabelle and Samuel on the set of Champions quiz. I also met some who had come for Jarry's last. I'm new, so I haven't had the chance to meet everyone yet. But we all talk to each other on a WhatsApp group. He is so active that I felt like I knew everyone.even without having seen them. It's as if there weren't any discoveries after all.
What makes the bond so strong between you?
It may be very stupid but it is the experience of defeat. We all find ourselves feeling frustrated at having lost our chair. Afterwards, on this WhatsApp group, we share a lot of nonsense, it's just a good mood!

Is there a candidate you fear in particular?
I don't fear anyone because we're here for a good cause. But my fear is to make zero and come across a question where I feel like it's obvious, like I should know, and I don't.
Did you revise it before filming?
Yes, without doing any deep learning. I had to revise as a priority the theme dedicated to the show on December 24 and I was finally moved to the one planned for the 23rd, an hour before filming. Fortunately, some of my classmates had taken notes. I was quickly able to read them and I was on point. It's part of the hazardsyou have to adapt, and the goal is above all to have fun.
