Shutdown of “TPMP”: this flagship columnist already poached by another show?

It’s the last of the year for Don’t touch my post. This Thursday, December 19, Cyril Hanouna presents his talk show for the last time in 2024. A year notably marked by the decision of ARCOM not to renew the frequency of the C8 channel and consequently, the cessation of TPMP.

For this last broadcast, Cyril Hanouna wanted the columnists to each throw a file on one of them, present around the table. And it was Guillaume Genton who got the ball rolling, revealing that Raymond was approached by another show.

Raymond ready to leave Cyril Hanouna?

Someone who betrayed you around the table is one of your closest, most faithful people…” began Guillaume Genton, Cyril Hanouna immediately understood that it was Raymond Aabou. “I say it, I don’t care” continued the columnist, former host of the Europe 2 morning show.

Raymond has been in negotiations for several weeks with another show: Les Grandes Gueules on RMC. And Raymond’s problem, the only reason he doesn’t go is that there’s no audience to applaud him.“revealed the young dad. Under the laughter and at the same time the surprise of the set. Cyril Hanouna for his part, did not seem surprised by the information.

There are discussions, they are my friends from the Grandes Gueules, I kiss them, they love Raymond” retorted the host of the Canal + group. Before continuing: “Unfortunately, as I will say later, I would have released Raymond to them if we didn’t have a job but, guys, I tell you, we only have good news and I’m keeping Raymond because I’m going to need him everywhere. Except at my house.

What future for Cyril Hanouna?

This Thursday, Cyril Hanouna had an important meeting with the Canal + group for the future of the show and the channel, starting in March. The announcement was made to all teams that TPMP will end on February 28.

According to our colleagues from Le Parisien, Cyril Hanouna does not rule out a return to the air in September 2025, without having where for the moment. All options would be on the table. There is no doubt that the host should say more this evening before the Christmas holidays.
