We had the pleasure of speaking with actor Bruno Marcil, on the sidelines of his participation in Masterchef Québec for the 2024 holidays. Obviously, we took the opportunity to talk to him about what awaits us in STAT after the holiday break.
The actor gives us a glimpse of a highly eventful start to the season, as one can imagine.
Above all, he returned to the distressing mid-season finale that was presented to us, in which the fate of several characters was put at stake: “ I wrote to Marie-Andrée the same morning saying “They don’t know what they’re going to get in their gums” “, he tells us, laughing, before adding “ I find our author so extraordinary that I put myself entirely in her hands, wherever she goes, I will go! »
Read here what author Marie-Andrée Labbé told us about her mid-season finale.
In addition, the actor confirms to us that the plot will resume a few seconds after the mid-season finale, when Philippe Dupéré (Patrick Labbé) was stabbed in the neck by a psychotic Steve Jolicoeur (Marc Beaupré), while Delphine (Virginie Ranger-Beauregard) suffered from a heart problem.
« You have to hold on to your gums, because we’re in the juice », tells us the actor, talking about the work that the medical team will have to do with these main characters. Will there be deaths? This is of course what viewers fear.
He adds, mockingly: “ I would tell those who have heart problems to only look with one eye! »
This is frankly intriguing! Where do you think author Marie-Andrée Labbé will take us next?
The synopsis of the first episode in January goes as follows: Tristan Rhéaume, Steve’s best friend, notices that he is experiencing hallucinations. Pascal and Emmanuelle discuss hospital management.
Could it be Tristan Rhéaume (Steve Gagnon) who will save the lives of Philippe and/or Delphine?
It’s not to be missed, starting Monday, January 6 at 7 p.m. on -.
