Lovers of good series? Then Yellowjackets should probably pique your curiosity. Besides, perhaps you already know it and are already waiting for the new season, which will arrive very soon.

Since March 2022, subscribers to Canal+ and Paramount+ have been able to watch Yellowjackets, a new television series which is not in detail: the story is that of a team of footballers from New Jersey who, in 1996, surrender flying to Seattle for a national tournament. The only downside (and not the least), they crash in Canada and must then survive… especially since clans adept at cannibalism prowl the region and would like to have their way.

This drama and psychological thriller quickly grips the guts and is also acclaimed by critics: on Rotten Tomatoes, the series obtains an almost perfect score of 96% for the two seasons already broadcast. The first obtained a metascore of 100% and the second that of 93%just that! “Pay what you have to watch Yellowjackets,” advises CNET, for example, while Concrete Playground says it’s a “scary, insightful, resonant and powerful must-see” series.

Towards a season 3 in 2025

We owe this little gem to Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, also producers, as well as judicious casting: Ella Purnell (the heroine of the Fallout series)Sophie Tchatcher (The Book of Boba Fett), Melanie Lynskey (My Uncle Charlie), Chrstina Ricci (The Addams Family) and many others whose performances are praised.
