The new season of “Star Academy” has been in full swing for several weeks. After Emma's departure, Masseo left the telecrochet this Saturday, during a colorful bonus, dedicated to Grégory Lemarchal. For the occasion, the choreographer Kamel Ouali made his comeback to the program, he who was a professor more than twenty years ago.

Questioned by Buzz , Kamel Ouali explains why, according to him, the teachers of the time could afford to be harsher with the students and why those of the current seasons, are very gentle and uncritical.

Kamel Ouali: a remarkable return to the Star Academy

The Star Academy is back, to the delight of telecrochet fans. After Anisha's victory in 2023 and that of Pierre Garnier last year, new students have just joined the Château de Dammaries-les-Lys for complete artistic training.

This Saturday, November 23, 2024, Kamel Ouali made his comeback in telecrochethe who was a professor during the first eight seasons from 2000! It was during a special tribute to Grégory Lemarchal that he made a notable appearance. The choreographer then created two exceptional scenes with Jennifer and Ebony and viewers did not fail to let it be known that they loved it, on social networks.

It’s true that the feedback on social networks was rave, it’s super gratifying and adorable” declared Kamel Ouali during an interview with Buzz TV.

And added: “ Coming back to the show permanently is complicated with my schedule. But being a guest from time to time suits me very well. Anyway, I'll be back in two weeks to prepare the promo around the 'Sun King' which I'm in charge of“.

A different teaching staff

During this interview, Kamel Ouali also explained why the teachers of the current seasons are much gentler than those of previous seasons.

“What has changed is that there is social media, and I think they are afraid. There are some people who are afraid to say what they really think because they are afraid of get lit on social networks (…) Things have changed. Fewer things can be said…” he analyzed.
