The Tarn has Incredible Talent! At just 11 years old, Loïs Fidel-Martinez lit up the famous M6 show. His dance troupe won a “Golden Buzzer”, synonymous with direct qualification to the semi-final.
A young Lescurienne in gold. A lifelong fan of the show “France has an Incredible Talent”, Loïs Fidel-Martinez, 11, had the chance to participate in the last season of the M6 show. With the Parisian troupe RB Dance Company, she performed on stage alongside around ten other dancers, aged 10 to 33, under the eyes of Marianne James, Hélène Ségara, Sugar Sammy and Eric Antoine.
Viewers were able to appreciate the choreography on the theme of violence at school, broadcast during the program on October 23. Prepared in only two weeks, this performance quickly convinced the four members of the jury and the public, offering a standing ovation to the troupe. “That’s fucking beautiful,” exclaimed Marianne James. “I’ve been waiting for this for seven years!”
Un Golden Buzzer en prime
In addition to impressing the jury, the performance of Loïs and her comrades also impressed the presenter of the show, Karine Le Marchand who decided to activate the Golden Buzzer, sending the entire troupe directly to the semi-finals of the competition.
“When we saw him arrive, we suspected something. We hoped for it, but we didn’t expect it. It’s a great reward,” explains Dimitri Fidel, Loïs’ father. “We were so happy. She has been watching the show since she was little. She dreamed of participating in it,” says Jessica, her mother. The parents of the young prodigy were in the audience during the filming of the show. They were able to follow their daughter and attend her live performance. “I was very happy to be on stage and not at all stressed,” assures Lois.
Preparing for the next choreography
Despite her young age, she is a regular on stage. Indeed, she has already participated in numerous competitions since she was 7 years old and has won individual titles. The young dancer joined the RB Dance Company troupe last April after several casting phases. A real springboard for the Tarnaise who has been immersed in dance since she was three. “I was apprehensive about the idea of her going to Paris but her teacher, Romain Rachline-Borgeaud (Choreographer and producer of the company Editor’s note), is caring, I am more serene now”, confides Jessica.
Loïs didn’t know that she was being recruited to participate in Incroyable Talent with the company: “Once she was taken and we were told, it was wonderful.” There then followed numerous return trips between Lescure-d’Albigeois and Paris for rehearsals with the company. “Knowing that she has the abilities and the opportunities, we cannot close doors to her,” says Dimitri.
Now that the first phase of the show has passed, let’s return to the preparations of the new choreography with the company for the semi-final, with a broadcast planned for December.
