House of the Dragon : this huge reference to Game of Thrones

In episode 3 of season 2 of House of the Dragonyou may have noticed, around the 32nd minute, a very important reference to Game of Thrones and more precisely to the character of Daenerys. Indeed, Rhaenyra is entrusting a mission of the utmost importance to Rhaena: to protect her youngest children Aegon, Viserys and Joffrey and to shelter them in the Vale of Arryn, far from the tumult of war. Rhaenyra then hopes that their route can continue to Penthos in order to distance them even further from Westeros. The Dark Queen also asks the young woman to take with her the two last-born of their dragons, Tyraxes linked to Joffrey and Stormcloud linked to Aegon. But she also entrusts her with four dragon eggs. One of these eggs could well be Rhaena’s future dragon, Morning.

These are the three future eggs offered to Daenerys at the time of her union with Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. Indeed, “These are Daenerys’ eggs“, confirmed to Mashablethe director of episode 3 of House of the Dragon, Geeta Vasant Patel.
