“He fell under her spell”: Linda Hardy looks back on her mixed collaboration with Thierry Ardisson (VIDEO)

During the 90s, Linda Hardy experienced a meteoric rise. Elected Miss France 1992, she then embarked on a career as an actress. In 1999, she got her first film role in the film Recto/Verso by Jean-Marc Longval, alongside Smaïn, Michel Muller, Franck Dubosc, Laurent Kérusoré, Jean-Luc Lemoine, Éric Judor and Ramzy Bédia.

At the time, Linda Hardy found herself in Everybody talks about it on France 2 to promote the feature film. The former beauty queen then got a place on Thierry Ardisson’s team, as she explains on the set of The Jordan Deluxe Pool this Monday 1is July on C8 : “He fell under the spell“, says the actress, before recounting in detail how she arrived on the talk show: “Three or four weeks after the show, Catherine Barma (the producer, editor’s note) called me to say: “Thierry loved you, he would like to have you as co-host to replace Laurent Ruquier who is leaving. » Obviously, it was not to replace what Laurent Ruquier was, because Laurent is Laurent, with all the talent that we know him to be, but in any case he was looking for someone, and his choice was carried on me.”

It’s a bit of a difficult time

However, Linda Hardy only stayed a few months in Everybody talks about it before leaving the program permanently: “It’s a bit of a difficult time but it’s a time where I’ve learned a lot.“, confides the Nantes native, who does not only have good memories of her past as co-host.”I learned what I wanted and what I didn’t want. I learned that if I was going to do television, I didn’t want to be just an image. It’s always been very important to me in my life in general that what appeared of me was up to the efforts I made. I worked a lot to offer something on this show, on the guests, on their journey… It was important for me to be up to par, and what was rendered was not up to the effort I made.

Furthermore, Linda Hardy did not appreciate the role reserved for her by Thierry Ardisson in the show: “No doubt there was a desire to have someone who was more of a foil.“The former Miss France has since settled her scores with the presenter, who has apologized: “He knows it, we’ve already talked about it. He knows my position on the subject. He taught me a lot of things about this profession, it’s still a good experience from that point of view. He replied to me one day in Les Grosses têtes that he had behaved badly, that he regretted it. Is it true, I don’t know…
