Surprise, this renewed horror series

Just a few weeks ago, horror aficionados were marveling at the 2024 edition of Halloween. Many people headed to amusement parks like Parc Astérix or Disneyland , to discover the temporary but horrific festivities. But the horror is first found on television (or on social networks). And fans of the genre, this excellent horror series has been renewed.

A fourth season for From

Led by Harold Perrineau, star of Oz and Lost, From has had a slightly complicated journey. After three good seasons, John Griffin's series has so far had an uncertain future. Although From is one of those series that would have been a hit in the golden age of television, the era is now governed by streaming platforms. And in this game, horror series have more difficulty establishing themselves, the fault of a more niche genre than others, more mainstream.

After the broadcast of the third season, many fans took to social networks to try to attract the attention of MGM+, its broadcast platform. Lovers of this horror series who then tried to demonstrate their love for this universe so dear to their hearts. A job that seems to have paid off: From has been renewed for a fourth season by MGM+.

Everyone had their say, from MGM+ to Jeff Pinkner, including John Griffin.

FROM has been a true phenomenon for MGM+, capturing the attention of millions of viewers and building awareness of our brand” said Michael Wright, head of MGM+. “Our talented creators and actors have brilliantly built this wonderful series, and we can't wait to deliver the answers audiences are eagerly awaiting in Season 4!

Jeff Pinkner, showrunner of the series, also spoke on the subject: “We are thrilled with the support of our fans and partners at MGM+, and we look forward to sharing the next chapter in our story with our FROMily. By the end of Season 3, our characters will begin to understand why they are trapped in the city of From…but will this understanding help them escape? And if so, how?“.

When John Griffin, its creator, concluded: “With the conclusion of Season 3, we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. Season 4 will mark the beginning of a new journey. The question is whether this will lead our characters home or plunge them even deeper into this never-ending nightmare. We are extremely grateful to our partners at MGM+ for being able to continue this story and very excited to share this news with our incredible FROMily.”

After a third season full of twists and turns, From will therefore be able to resume its merry way. A fourth season which will arrive in the more or less near future, by the time these new episodes are written, shot, edited and validated, water should flow under the bridge. Expect a release at the end of 2025, or even at the beginning of 2026. In , From is broadcast on Paramount+.
