But it was especially two days later that he made headlines during an interview where he joked about Emma's departure. True to his provocative style, he explained that he replied to Emma with humor: “You should, because it sells millions of records.” Before adding jokingly: “Oh, poor thing… karma, she got fired the same evening.” He then clarified: “It is not not negative about being a dunce. Look, I'm a dunce and I sold more than everyone else. You have to be yourself.”
These statements sparked strong reactions on social networks: “The worst part is that he still claims to be the one who sold the most alo records
rs that it is false,” or again: “He sold a million on a single and then nothing, he should go back down.”
A song written by Grégory Lemarchal
One of the highlights of the week was the arrival of DJ and singer Quentin Mosimann at the castle. He came to present a very moving project: the recording of a new song written by Grégory Lemarchal, “Et si tu sens”. This song, written on March 15, 2007 from his hospital bed, a few weeks before his death on April 30, 2007, will be performed by the academicians and will appear on the promotion's album, the release of which is scheduled for December 6.
The profits from this single will be entirely donated to the Grégory Lemarchal association, a gesture which deeply touched the students.

The guests of the next prime
A bonus dedicated to alumni would not be complete without their presence! Throughout the week, former teachers came to the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys to provide lessons to the students. On stage, the academicians will be able to count on the participation of Jenifer, winner of the first season, but also of Roch Voisine, Chimène Badi, Camille Lou and Patxi Garat.
See you this Saturday on TF1 to discover this exceptional bonus!
