Xavier, Éric, Stéphane… 100 great champions soon back in the game!

Launched on June 28, 2010, The 12 strokes of noon are preparing to celebrate a special event: its 5000th broadcast! To do this, Jean-Luc Reichmann brought together 100 candidates who have been through the daily front page program.

Such longevity should be celebrated! To celebrate the 5000th issue of 12 shots of noon, TF1 will offer a prime-time event on Saturday July 13: 100 of the greatest Midday Masters will be back on the set of the daily headline game. And even if they won’t all play, the most emblematic participants will face each other. In addition to Émilien, the champion currently in play and greatest Master of Midday, other faces well known to viewers have accepted the challenge.

The 12 strokes of noon the 5000th: the 100 participants will have to fight to qualify for the final

In order not to make people jealous and not to bring certain candidates to just watch the feats of the best participants, a special mechanism has been created: all the competitors will be installed in the public and equipped with a box. Thus, everyone will have a chance to give the correct answers, and therefore to be one of the eight qualified for the final phase. Because yes, the tournament will take place in two stages. After the first round, the top eight will mix into teams of two with several personalities – Booder, Chantal Ladesou, Nico and Daniela Capone – in a second event. The winners will then face each other in a final face-to-face which will crown the master of masters.

The 12 strokes of noon : which former Grand Masters of Midday are participating in this exceptional bonus?

Among the hundred or so players, viewers will obviously find many very well-known faces. The giants of the game such as Émilien, Bruno Hourcade, Éric, Céline, Stéphane, Paul El Karrat and Xavier will inevitably fight for the supreme title. Alongside them, the public will find other less well ranked but unforgettable candidates like Cyrille Legendre, Timothée, Alexandre, Catherine, Lucia or even Léo and Yaël. To complete the cast, other more unexpected players also find themselves in the competition: Mathias, the first Maître de midi beaten by Émilien or even Delphine, responsible for the fall of Céline in July 2023.
